The newest scandal in the US and Canada is the selling of Gardasil as an inoculation to prevent cervical cancer (or human papilloma virus—HPV) in women. This poison was manufactured by Merck pharmaceutical which pays out millions in salaries and bonuses to promote the vaccine, and they try have even tried to have it mandated by state legislatures for young woman. Gardasil was approved in September of 2006 and by September of 2007, Judicial Watch had obtained reports from the Food and Drug Administration using the Freedom of Information Act. There are reported to be twenty deaths and 1700 severe adverse reactions to the vaccinations, and this says nothing of the longer term effects including possible infertility. The drug is supposed to offer immunity to only 3 or 4 of 100 types of cervical cancer that cause 70% of cervical cancer. Although the American Medical Association states that “the safety of new agents cannot be known with certainty until a drug has been on the market for years,” these drugs are fast tracked through the regulatory agencies to market, and the public essentially become guinea pigs for the companies. Gardasil will cause illnesses far in excess of the ill effects of the cancer itself. HPV is largely avoidable without an expensive and potentially fatal vaccine, which has no significant track record for reducing mortality due to cervical cancer. It has not been available long enough to conduct such research and the pharmaceutical company cannot be counted upon to report adverse reactions and negative test results. HPV itself can usually be resolved through natural means and through strengthening the immune system, and 90% of such HPV infections clear up within two years.

The governor of Texas, Richard Perry, associated with Merck and of the Bilderberg elite, tried to pass an executive order to mandate Gardasil for the young girls of Texas before they could enter grade 6, at 12 years old. Remember HPV is transmitted through sexual intercourse. Fortunately, this was rejected in the legislature due to a public backlash and outcry. Mandated inoculations can create huge profits for the pharmaceutical mafia and at the same time be essentially a weapon of mass destruction and sterilization. It has long been known that the UN programs in South Africa have caused widespread sterilization, in addition to spreading AIDS and other viruses.

In Canada, the Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Conservative government in the fall of 2007 mandated $300 million dollars of tax payers’ money for Gardasil vaccinations for the young woman of eastern Canada, beginning in P.E.I and Nova Scotia. And now, a lot of corporate money is then poured into television advertising with cute little songs and loving mothers bringing their daughters in for their inoculations and imaginary protection. The Canadian media is now even trying to convince men to take the vaccination, and I viewed a month ago, a clip of a doctor advising the inoculations for men. A friend of mine while with his family doctor reported that she had even had her own son vaccinated. People are so foolish and so deceived, and have a completely unfounded trust in their own government and medical establishment—both bought out by the pharmaceutical mafia. Imagine that: Men taking vaccinations for cervical cancer! This will then be promoted through the medical establishment and the ill effects of the inoculations will simply be covered up and denied. By the time the drug is shown to be toxic, Merck will have made enough billions of profit even to pay out civil suits and class actions against them, which they will drag out through the court system, likely with some compromised judge to render a verdict.

Aspartame is another substance routinely added to foods, especially diet pops and chewing gum, despite the accumulating research demonstrating its toxic effects. The United States’ Food and Drug Administration turned down G.D. Searle's application for aspartame's approval from 1966 to 1981, at which point, approval was forced through the FDA at the insistence of Searle's CEO, Donald Rumsfeld. This regulatory failure of epic proportions entirely resulted from the actions of Donald Rumsfeld when he was with the patent holder for aspartame. The massive public health issues caused by aspartame are thus referred to as Rumsfeld’s plague. The FDA has accrued over 92 symptoms from ingesting aspartame, ranging from headaches, blurred vision, skin rashes, epilepsy and multiple sclerosis to that ultimate symptom, DEATH. Aspartame is a chemical that the FDA has known for 43 years is metabolized as methanol, formaldehyde, aspartic acid, phenylalanine, and the proven carcinogen, diketopiperazine. This chemical has produced a massive mountain of medical evidence of its neuro-degenerative effects, which is finally leading to more States within the US calling for it to be removed from the market. New Mexico has now sponsored Senate Memorial 9, 2009, asking the Food and Drug Administration to rescind its approval for the artificial sweetener, aspartame. As has the Senate of Hawaii , where both diabetes and epileptic seizures with links to aspartame, have now become statistically epidemic. In January 2009, Hawaii Senator Kalani English introduced SB576 to ban aspartame entirely in Hawaii. This bill is cosponsored by an astonishing 14 members of the 25 member Hawaii Senate. Health Canada, like the FDA, has been negligent in failing to prevent the spread of neuro-degenerative and carcinogenic damage to hundreds of millions of Americans and Canadians!

Genetically modified seeds, plants and foods pose another huge health issue. A growing body of research demonstrates that GM foods are causing all kinds of impairments, birth defects and infertility, malnutrition, cancers and death. GM foods have now been outright banned in the European Union. Further, the spread of genetically modified corns, rice, soybean, wheat and other crops have caused the devastation of native food supplies around the world in third world countries and in North America. Further, when GM foods are sold, the government requires no labelling at the bequest of the corporate mafia as the public might not want to eat such poisons. A good portion of North American food supply now involves GM foods in one form or another—estimated at 80%. Once again, these GM seeds and foods are introduced without adequate testing, the suppression of contrary research, and only denial and obstruction when the evidences become more clear as to the dangers posed by these technologies.

In Seeds of Destruction: The Hidden Agenda of Genetic Manipulation by F. William Engdahl (Global Research, 2007 ISBN 978-0-937147-2-2), the author focuses on how a small socio-political American elite has sought to establish control over the very basis of human survival: the provision of our daily bread. "Control the food and you control the people." Engdahl looks into the corridors of power, into the backrooms of the science labs and behind closed doors in the corporate boardrooms, to explain the perils of GMOs. He reveals “a diabolical World of profit-driven political intrigue, government corruption and coercion, where genetic manipulation and the patenting of life forms are used to gain worldwide control over food production.” The book reads like a crime story, which indeed should not come as a surprise. For that is what it is. Engdahl's carefully argued critique goes far beyond the familiar controversies surrounding the practice of genetic modification as a scientific technique. The book is an eye-opener, a must-read for all those committed to the causes of social justice and World peace. We begin to realize that the Food and Drug Administration of the US, like Health Canada, do not really serve the health interests of the citizens but the corporate masters, with their secretive eugenics plans.
