It is our duty as free citizens to preserve our national sovereignty. The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America is a threat to our national sovereignty as it seeks to create new ruling bodies that supersedes the authority of the electorate.
Remind your government that they are permitted to govern only because you tolerate it.
Look what how our friends in the Mexican government deal with their civilians. Further integration with Mexico should be immediately halted and previous agreements should be reevaluated.
These agreements have been entered into without consulting the Canadian people. Do Canadians want closer ties with a government that condones this kind of treatment for its civilians? Does this set a precedent on how the Canadian government can treat us?
Two separate reports of the use of agents provocateurs by the police in Denver during the DNC. Yet to be independently confirmed with the ACLU.

DENVER (AP) - The American Civil Liberties Union says undercover
police officers posing as protesters staged a violent confrontation
with another officer during the Democratic convention in Denver.
The ACLU said it obtained a police document
showing the undercover officers pretended to struggle with a police
commander so they could be removed from the crowd without blowing
their cover.
The ACLU says another officer thought the commander was being
attacked and pepper-sprayed the undercover officers.
It's not clear how many officers were involved or how they were
affected by the spray.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson told The Associated Press
he was unaware of the report and couldn't comment. The ACLU didn't
immediately return a message.

Brigade homeland tours start Oct. 1
3rd Infantry’s 1st BCT trains for a new dwell-time mission. Helping ‘people at home’ may become a permanent part of the active Army
By Gina Cavallaro - Staff writer
Posted : Monday Sep 8, 2008 6:15:06 EDT
The 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team has spent 35 of the last 60 months in Iraq patrolling in full battle rattle, helping restore essential services and escorting supply convoys.
Now they’re training for the same mission — with a twist — at home.
Beginning Oc
t. 1 for 12 months, the 1st BCT will be under the day-to-day control of U.S. Army North, the Army service component of Northern Command, as an on-call federal response force for natural or manmade emergencies and disasters, including terrorist attacks.
It is not the first time an active-duty unit has been tapped to help at home. In August 2005, for example, when Hurricane Katrina unleashed hell in Mississippi and Louisiana, several active-duty units were pulled from various posts and mobilized to those areas.
But this new mission marks the first time an active unit has been given a dedicated assignment to NorthCom, a joint command established in 2002 to provide command and control for federal homeland defense efforts and coordinate defense support of civil authorities.
After 1st BCT finishes its dwell-time mission, expectations are that another, as yet unnamed, active-duty brigade will take over and that the mission will be a permanent one.
“Right now, the response force requirement will be an enduring mission. How the [Defense Department] chooses to source that and whether or not they continue to assign them to NorthCom, that could change in the future,” said Army Col. Louis Vogler, chief of NorthCom future operations. “Now, the plan is to assign a force every year.”
The command is at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colo., but the soldiers with 1st BCT, who returned in April after 15 months in Iraq, will operate out of their home post at Fort Stewart, Ga., where they’ll be able to go to school, spend time with their families and train for their new homeland mission as well as the counterinsurgency mission in the war zones.
Stop-loss will not be in effect, so soldiers will be able to leave the Army or move to new assignments during the mission, and the operational tempo will be variable.
Don’t look for any extra time off, though. The at-home mission does not take the place of scheduled combat-zone deployments and will take place during the so-called dwell time a unit gets to reset and regenerate after a deployment.
The 1st of the 3rd is still scheduled to deploy to either Iraq or Afghanistan in early 2010, which means the soldiers will have been home a minimum of 20 months by the time they ship out.
In the meantime, they’ll learn new skills, use some of the ones they acquired in the war zone and more than likely will not be shot at while doing any of it.
They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack.
Training for homeland scenarios has already begun at Fort Stewart and includes specialty tasks such as knowing how to use the “jaws of life” to extract a person from a mangled vehicle; extra medical training for a CBRNE incident; and working with U.S. Forestry Service experts on how to go in with chainsaws and cut and clear trees to clear a road or area.
The 1st BCT’s soldiers also will learn how to use “the first ever nonlethal package that the Army has fielded,” 1st BCT commander Col. Roger Cloutier said, referring to crowd and traffic control equipment and nonlethal weapons designed to subdue unruly or dangerous individuals without killing them.
“It’s a new modular package of nonlethal capabilities that they’re fielding. They’ve been using pieces of it in Iraq, but this is the first time that these modules were consolidated and this package fielded, and because of this mission we’re undertaking we were the first to get it.”
The package includes equipment to stand up a hasty road block; spike strips for slowing, stopping or controlling traffic; shields and batons; and, beanbag bullets.
“I was the first guy in the brigade to get Tasered,” said Cloutier, describing the experience as “your worst muscle cramp ever — times 10 throughout your whole body.
“I’m not a small guy, I weigh 230 pounds ... it put me on my knees in seconds.”
The brigade will not change its name, but the force will be known for the next year as a CBRNE Consequence Management Response Force, or CCMRF (pronounced “sea-smurf”).
“I can’t think of a more noble mission than this,” said Cloutier, who took command in July. “We’ve been all over the world during this time of conflict, but now our mission is to take care of citizens at home ... and depending on where an event occurred, you’re going home to take care of your home town, your loved ones.”
While soldiers’ combat training is applicable, he said, some nuances don’t apply.
“If we go in, we’re going in to help American citizens on American soil, to save lives, provide critical life support, help clear debris, restore normalcy and support whatever local agencies need us to do, so it’s kind of a different role,” said Cloutier, who, as the division operations officer on the last rotation, learned of the homeland mission a few months ago while they were still in Iraq.
Some brigade elements will be on call around the clock, during which time they’ll do their regular marksmanship, gunnery and other deployment training. That’s because the unit will continue to train and reset for the next deployment, even as it serves in its CCMRF mission.
Should personnel be needed at an earthquake in California, for example, all or part of the brigade could be scrambled there, depending on the extent of the need and the specialties involved.
Other branches included
The active Army’s new dwell-time mission is part of a NorthCom and DOD response package.
Active-duty soldiers will be part of a force that includes elements from other military branches and dedicated National Guard Weapons of Mass Destruction-Civil Support Teams.
A final mission rehearsal exercise is scheduled for mid-September at Fort Stewart and will be run by Joint Task Force Civil Support, a unit based out of Fort Monroe, Va., that will coordinate and evaluate the interservice event.
In addition to 1st BCT, other Army units will take part in the two-week training exercise, including elements of the 1st Medical Brigade out of Fort Hood, Texas, and the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade from Fort Bragg, N.C.
There also will be Air Force engineer and medical units, the Marine Corps Chemical, Biological Initial Reaction Force, a Navy weather team and members of the Defense Logistics Agency and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
One of the things Vogler said they’ll be looking at is communications capabilities between the services.
“It is a concern, and we’re trying to check that and one of the ways we do that is by having these sorts of exercises. Leading up to this, we are going to rehearse and set up some of the communications systems to make sure we have interoperability,” he said.
“I don’t know what America’s overall plan is — I just know that 24 hours a day, seven days a week, there are soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines that are standing by to come and help if they’re called,” Cloutier said. “It makes me feel good as an American to know that my country has dedicated a force to come in and help the people at home.”
The thin edge of the wedge has already been placed, this is just a continuation of the martial law preparations and public conditioning.
Be on the look out for this type of activity here in Canada. If unjustified military action is seen we must respond vigorously. Do we really want to face our own troops, on our own streets, armed and operating with orders to contain, detain or restrain us?

We have a Right to keep and bear arms in Canada. Of course there are legitimate concerns with regards to the mentally unstable (or criminals) gaining access to firearms, but, it's not the firearms that are the problem, it's the mentally unstable! Whether the mentally unstable have access to firearms or not they are still able to create havoc. Armed citizens are in a better position to defend themselves from the mentally unstable, especially when the the mentally unstable have demonstrated their access to firearms. Current policies are denying our rights and habituating free citizens to relying solely upon 911 emergency response for our own individual protection.

Throughout history people have been disarmed before the genocidal behavior of their government became apparent. I'm sure the millions of people that became victims of genocide thought 'that couldn't happen here' as well.
All that evil needs to prevail is for good people to remain silent. Which means we need to get good people to end their denial and start speaking up.
S. 1858: Newborn Screening Saves Lives Act of 2007
This bill has become law. Nice how the mainstream media totally ignored it. You would think a nation wide DNA database used by the Government to track its citizens would be of interest.
Brase states that under this bill, "The DNA taken at birth from every citizen is essentially owned by the government, and every citizen becomes a potential subject of government-sponsored genetic research." All 50 states are now routinely providing results of genetic screenings to the Department of Homeland Security and this bill will establish the legality of that practice plus include DNA.
S.1858 will nationalize the genetic testing of all newborn children—and indirectly their families. The bill and its U.S. House companion bill, H.R. 3825, will:
• Establish a national list of genetic conditions for which newborns and children are to be tested.
• Establish protocols for the linking and sharing of genetic test results nationwide.
• Build surveillance systems for tracking the health status and health outcomes of individuals diagnosed at birth with a genetic defect or trait.
• Use the newborn screening program as an opportunity for government agencies to identify, list, and study
“secondary conditions” of individuals and their families.
• Subject citizens to genetic research without their knowledge or consent.
Newborn screening is “the first program of populationwide genetic testing.”1 Yet this legislation does not require informed parent consent for testing, surveillance, or research.

The SPP is the political manifestation of a corporate plan for economic and security integration that was never voted on in any country. Big business lobbies like the Canadian Council of Chief Executives (CCCE) drafted almost all of the SPP's 300 initiatives and they continue to be the only Canadian group with any input into the SPP. In May 2006, Prime Minister Stephen Harper put 10 members of the CCCE onto a permanent high-level advisory board called the North American Competitiveness Council (NACC). This group has been asked to "prioritize the priorities" in the SPP and to "drive change." Meanwhile, the public and most of our publicly elected officials have been left out of the picture completely.

The Canadian Action Party is, above all, a pro-Canadian party dedicated to the principle that Canada can best serve its citizens and the world by re-claiming and maintaining its political and economic sovereignty as an independent country.
It is opposed to the ascendancy of "corporate rule" and those aspects of unrestricted global investment that promote colonization of the world’s smaller powers and in Canada’s case its absorption by the United States of America.
In this context the Canadian Action Party is committed to the view that human dignity is the underlying principle of a democratic society and that the purpose of political organization is to guarantee equal opportunity in order to give full expression to that dignity.
In accordance with this philosophy, the Canadian Action Party subscribes to the fundamental rights and freedoms of all persons and equality under the law and commits itself to the protection of these essential values and their constant adaptation to the needs of a modern society.
The Canadian Action Party recognizes that human dignity, and a democratic system requires that all citizens have access to full information regarding the policies and leadership of the state; and that such information should not be unreasonably denied.
Citizens should be provided full opportunity to participate in open and public assessment of public policies and their impact as they deem desirable to promote the political, economic, social, cultural and general well-being of Canadians.
To realize this objective, the Canadian Action Party will strive to provide a flexible and democratic structure under which all Canadians can obtain such information, participate in open assessment and make their views known through open communication and political actions both electoral and non-electoral.
The Canadian Action Party recognizes the responsibility of the state to provide certain essential services for its citizens.
To assist in this regard the Canadian Action Party will reform the banking system and use the Bank of Canada creatively in order to provide the fiscal flexibility essential to this end.
The Canadian Action Party Constitution sets forth the systems and procedures by which the Canadian Action Party will work to implement these ideas on behalf of its members and all Canadians.
Our Vision
The Canadian Action Party's key proposal is "the right to work". We believe that anyone who wants to work should be able to find employment at a wage that will allow self-sufficiency.
All political parties promise "jobs, jobs, jobs" without being able to deliver on the promise. What makes CAP different from all other parties is that we would use the Bank of Canada to finance full employment. We would increase spending and cut taxes enough to achieve a growth rate between 4 % and 5 % for four or five years until there are jobs for all.
Our ultimate aim is "full employment." Period! We believe that the right to gainful employment is a fundamental right and we will cooperate with the provinces and municipalities in the development of a form of "guaranteed annual work" to provide meaningful expression for people displaced by technology. The vast majority of unemployed Canadians want to work, be self-sufficient and part of their communities. Individuals will be given the opportunity for self-fulfillment while contributing to a higher quality of life for all.
Connie Fogal - A voice of reason on the SPP
Founded in 1985, the Council of Canadians is Canada’s largest citizens’ organization, with members and chapters across the country. We work to protect Canadian independence by promoting progressive policies on fair trade, clean water, energy security, public health care, and other issues of social and economic concern to Canadians.
We develop creative campaigns to put some of the country’s most important issues into the spotlight. We work with a network of over 70 volunteer chapters to organize speaking tours, days of action, conferences and demonstrations. We also produce research reports, create popular materials, and work with individuals and organizations across the country and around the world. We do all of this to ensure that governments know the kind of Canada we want.
The Council does not accept money from corporations or governments, and is sustained entirely by the volunteer energy and financial assistance of its members.
